The latest entry for the NeoFlash Coding Competition is from carlosgs, who released downPSP, an app that will let you download and install homebrew straight from your handheld. Unfortunately, it can't do either at the moment, but it's a good start. Details after the link.Download: downPSP v210
The latest entry for the NeoFlash Coding Competition is from carlosgs, who released downPSP, an app that will let you download and install homebrew straight from your handheld. Unfortunately, it can't do either at the moment since it's in its very early stages, but it's a good start and hopefully we'll see its potential come to fruition soon.
Aside from the homebrew download and install feature though, the app has several other features that make it pretty useful:
Filebrowser with:
- PNG image viewer. With scrolling for large images.
- Simple text file viewer. With auto line-breaks :-D
- You can rename files with the "square" button.
- Simple searching with the "triangle" button.
- Detects file type, not only by the extension. For example, if you have an MP3 file without any extension, the program know that it is actually an MP3 file.
- Self updating through the network ;-)
- Select whether you want to show the initial splash or not.
- Show memory stick free space.
- Restore default config.
