NeoFlash Spring Coding Competition 07: Go!Go! Goo
If you’re looking for a game that would up that challenge a notch or so, and one that would give you something more than just button-mashers, then this NeoFlash Spring Coding Competition entry is right up your alley.
The Go!Go! Goo! beta v0.7 is from bennyrebirth and friends, and it definitely is one tough nut to crack. Basically, the story is that you are a scientist working on your experiment. But your flubber-like goos have escaped from your lab and you would need to recover them and lead them to the exit before your enemies get to them or before they get destroyed by the traps lying about.
What makes this challenging is that there are like a whole bunch of goos escaping your lab, and while you’d need just (for example) ten out of them 40 goos to usher back to the exit, you need to strategize as to where you’ll be putting up your blockages so they won’t escape your clutches again.
Oh, and it being timed adds to the rush as well. So, yeah. It’s a pretty cool game, considering that bennyrebirth claims the gameplay still isn’t very polished and that there still are a lot of stuff to be implemented. We suggest you go check it out.
