New Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation Trailer 2
Here’s another short but sweet trailer of Namco Bandai‘s Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, and this time the video’s focusing on actual gameplay. In this short clip we can see a small hint of how controlling land and air units will look like while piloting your aircraft.
There’s no sign of any radical change in the HUD (Heads Up Display), except for that glimpse of “Allied Attack” that flashes briefly on the HUD. Command input for support and reinforcement is most probably done in real time, similar to the more recent Ace Combat games where you can tell your wingmen to either cover you, or do an all-out assault through simple presses on the D-pad.
On the graphics side, the city shot in the trailer is simply amazing – and that is a complete understatement. The details-intensive 3D model of a city seen from a several hundred feet up in the air is just breathtaking. From what we can see in the trailer, the very sight of it is capable of making people feel dizzy, much like being in an actual cockpit up in the skies. Dogfights are more exciting and are greatly enhanced by the state-of-the art graphics engine.
We may go on and on, but the Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation trailer is best viewed. It looks awesome to say the least, but the trailer is too short to give us any real information about actual gameplay. Stay tuned here at QJ as we sniff out more (hopefully comprehensive) trailers!
