New Areas Added To Astonia 3
German game developer Intent Software has announced the release of a new patch for its fantasy-themed MMORPG, Astonia 3.
In addition to addressing a number of minor bug issues, this new patch includes a new section of the demon city of “Teufelheim” (German for “Home of the Devil”) with several new quests and areas. Players can enter Teufelheim by wearing a “rare and precious” demon armor set.
This MMO game takes place in a world in which people’s knowledge of their Origin has been forgotten. Seyan, Lord of a city-state called Aston, has a vision that leads to his conquest and formation of an empire. Eventually, the Ancient Ancestors awaken from a long sleep, and one of them – Ishtar, last of the Cristalim – appears to Seyan, offering him knowledge of the “ancient magic” in exchange for his empire’s allegiance (shades of Dr. Faustus!)
Over the centuries, the Aston Empire follows the path of all empires as greed, decadence and lust for and abuse of power runs rampant. The empire falls. Only the original descendants of Seyan remain loyal to Ishtar. Now, this remnant must prepare themselves for the arrival of the Great Adversary, whom Ishtar has felt awakening…
Astonia 3 is free to download and includes a 28-day free trial period. After this, a monthly subscription fee of $9.95 applies.
