New Blue Dragon screenshots
With the North American release date for the Xbox 360 title Blue Dragon still unknown, more and more details are starting to emerge about this much-awaited game.
In the latest issue of the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, screenshots from this Mistwalker game have been featured, which shows our lead character, Shu, and one of his friends. Another interesting thing to note would be the screenshots featuring Shu exploring the city and interacting with NPCs. It also shows what seems to be a World Map view of the world that one can explore. Because of the World Map view as well as the vehicle that our heroes are travelling in, one can’t help but feel a tad nostalgic as the scene fairly resembles Square Enix‘s Chrono Trigger World Map.
Blue Dragon is a project that is headed by at least three of the gaming world’s superstars, namely Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball character designer Akira Toriyama, and musical legend Nobuo Uematsu. The game is Japan-bound on December 7, with its OST set to hit stores a mere week after the game comes out.
