New Blue Dragon screenshots and video
And here we go with the latest batch of screenshots for the upcoming RPG for the Xbox 360,Blue Dragon, and this time around, we take a good look at a bit of city exploration.
Upon looking at these screenshots, one of the first things that come to mind is “Wow! Look at that water!”, and I’m being serious here, as it isn’t too often that one gets to see well-rendered water surface outside of FMVs or cinematic sequences. Another delightful thing to notice would be the cast of NPCs and city-dwellers scattered about – a travelling merchant, shopkeepers, and a little girl crying on the sidewalk, to name a few. It actually makes the whole thing seem like a real, breathing, and living town with a lot of people just hanging around.
With more and more information and images being revealed as Blue Dragon preps up for its December 7 Japanese release, one can’t help but just get excited over the game. After all, the title is made by Mistwalker and is spearheaded by no other than the holy trinity of Japanese RPGs – Hironobu Sakaguchi, Akira Toriyama, and Nobuo Uematsu – making us expect a game that’s nothing less than grand.
So, while we wait for December to roll in, here’s some screenshots to enjoy, as well as a short, high-res video of our hero Shu as he goes exploring in Gibral Castle Town, which we can now ogle at.
