New Call of Duty 4, Assassin’s Creed ads for Sony’s largest campaign ever
As some of you may have noticed on TV, Sony just unleashed new TV ads for Activision‘s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC) and Ubisoft‘s Assassin’s Creed (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) to show off the PlayStation 3’s premiere third-party titles. The two brief videos are now posted on the Official PlayStation Blog, though they’re also currently airing for your viewing pleasure. If you really have to see them right now, find the commercials at the full article.
Determined to push for the largest campaign ever supporting a hardware platform this holiday season, Sony just released two new ads on the PlayStation blog featuring Activision‘s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC) and Ubisoft‘s Assassin’s Creed (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). PlayStation 3 marketing manager Kim Nguyen delivered the goods, though you should also see the commercials on TV.
The videos are brief and the titles aren’t even exclusive, but Sony wants to send the word that there are good games waiting to be played. Those keeping tabs on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Assassin’s Creed will see nothing new, but it sure is easy to get excited by the sweet bits of gameplay footage shown.
Nguyen promised more of these ads to tell the world about other explosive titles, such as Ubisoft’s Haze, Konami‘s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Electronic Arts‘ Burnout Paradise, THQ‘s WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008, and Namco Bandai’s Time Crisis 4. While we wait for commercials of these games to appear on TV, check out the latest from PS3’s ad campaign embedded below.
