New Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles screenshots and video
Some gorgeous vampire-slaying action in glorious 3D coming your way with this enormous batch of screenshots, as well as a gameplay video of the fifth level of the game. We get you the skinny on what’s in store for us come the game’s fall release.
As you can see from the screenshots, the graphics are still looking as sweet as ever, and it’s to note that the 3D treatment it was given doesn’t look jarring or out of place at all – rather, it actually looks natural. The monsters and the environments look alive and have that macabre feel that the Castlevania titles have always had.
In the video, we see that the gameplay’s smooth as silk, and Richter’s attacks look as damaging and powerful as they were before (if not more so). Another thing to note is that even when there’s so many things going on, there’s absolutely no lag whatsoever – it’s only a pity the video stops just before a boss fight (or what looks like it).
