This next gen project from CryTek, the makers of the equally dazzling FPS Far Cry, is set in 2019 after a colossal asteroid crashes to Earth. A tense military standoff between the North Korean and United States governments ensue as each tries to gain control of the impact zone. Both governments must join forces, however, when the asteroid opens up and reveals a massive alien ship bent on the invasion of Earth.
While a specific release date has yet to be announced, Crysis is slated for release this year.
