New de Blob screenshots
Up for a platformer title for the Nintendo Wii and DS that’s not more of the same? Then heads up as we give you more screenshots of THQ‘s de Blob, an upcoming title that’s all about painting the town red – or blue, or violet, or yellow, or any other color in the pretty and fanciful rainbow (of colors). Check them out in the full article.
More insane INKT-smushing and paint-smearing action coming your way with this latest screenshot update of THQ‘s quirky platformer for the Nintendo Wii and DS, de Blob. From what could have been a mere blip in our radar, de Blob looks quite ready to make some serious Mario-sized waves in the platformer genre, with its very own unique visual style and a gameplay mechanic that’s certainly original.
Looking at the screenshots, it’s clear that THQ’s been doing some tightening here and there. The graphics look remarkably solid and smooth, the colors rich and vibrant (well, the areas supposed to look victimized by the blob itself anyway), and there’s a certain charm to the blockiness of things. Here’s hoping that its gets more of a polish before it gets rolled out. Enjoy the screenshots!
