Patches, patches, patches are still coming for Slant Six‘s PS3 shooter, SOCOM: Confrontation. Patch 1.50 is now reportedly feature complete and in testing, and while it’s not yet out the devs have decided it’s a good time as any to announce a few features in patch 1.60.

Aside from the usual round of fixes, the release will also include free DLC. There will be new Special Forces teams: the Dutch KCT and the Italian COMSUBIN. Each Force includes new heads and voice + a light, medium and heavy variant of their own torso and legs (each with a unique camouflage pattern).

Each will also get new main weapons; the Dutch KCT will get the 417 assault rifle while the COMSUBIN will get the SPAS 15 shotgun.

Speaking of weapons, patch 1.60 will also add four new ones available to all players. These are the 9mm Sub Machine Gun, M82A1A, Ak-74 and SR-25. There will also be a number of weapon updates and adjustments to existing weapons.

Those looking for more DLC can also look forward to a major content pack which will be announced later this month.
