New Doraemon party games coming to the Wii and DS
Doraemon, that anime/manga series about a strange time-travelling cat sent from the future to help a young boy, have proven to be a timeless classic since it appeared December 1969. In fact, fans would know that a movie is coming out.
What is it for us gamers? Well, Sega will be dishing out a couple of Doraemon games to the Wii and DS, and they look promising.
Doraemon Wii: Himitsu Doguo Kettei Sen will be a four player party game that will make full use of Wii’s motion sensing controls. Slated for a winter 2007 release in Japan, the screens make us believe that the game will be just like the series – full of crazy surprises thanks to Doraemon’s magical pouch.
Doraemon: Nobita to Midori no Kyojin Den DS will be the entry to the DS as a tie-in for the upcoming movie. So far, we only know that it’ll be an action-adventure game. With the only screenshot we have above, it looks like a very colorful and sharp sidescroller. More updates as we get them, so watch this space.
