New Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 gameplay video
More high-octane, super-powered martial arts action coming your way with this new gameplay video of Namco Bandai‘s Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. In this episode, we see how an actual match actually plays through.
We also get to see two very powerful warriors in the Dragon Ball Z universe – King Vegeta and Spopovitch – try and blast each other into kingdom come while throwing one another through mountains and other rocky formations.
As usual, graphics are looking very smooth, with the character designs staying faithful to their 2D roots. The beam and impact effects are clean and bright, not to mention the animations where someone’s getting the everliving stuffing beaten out of them look convincing and all too painful.
It’s only a shame that the actual game title doesn’t have that raw, bloody violence the anime has – it would’ve been more in keeping with the series. Then again, the Budokai Tenkaichi series has always worked, no sense in reinventing the wheel some.
In any case, enjoy the video! You can view it in full by clicking on the read link below.
