New Dragon Quest Swords pictures
PS2 users got a great look at an RPG done right and done well when Square Enix released Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Featuring a palace guard-turned hero, a princess-turned-horse, and a lot of slick Akira Toriyama stylings, it was quite a hit among RPG fans. That being said, PS3 users might just want to spend some time at a friend’s house next year just to play their own game of Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors.
The new pictures we have for you are, in part, screenshots. Some of these are also pictures of the little shrine of sorts that’s been put up for the 20th anniversary of the series, which also includes a sweet sword many fans of the Dragon Quest series will definitely recognize. Too bad it’s encased, as that would be a great addition to anyone’s dragonslaying armaments.
In any case, we’ll have to be patient. Dragon Quest Swords isn’t expected to be out in Japan till Spring 2007, though you may want to practice your sword swinging with some other Wii games in the meantime.
