New Godzilla: Unleashed screenshots

Huge monster-on-monster action with a fresh batch of screenshots of Atari‘s Godzilla: Unleashed for the Nintendo Wii. Check out the Big G in his natural element as he rips, tears and crushes his way through a hapless city full of hapless skyscrapers and equally hapless citizens. Yes, it’s Godzilla again, earthlings, and yes, he’s come to destroy you.

The graphics are looking solid, with the buildings resembling the sort you’d actually see during a trip downtown (and would want to destroy as such). It’s also good to note that the monsters themselves are looking pretty good in their next-gen selves, with Godzilla himself actually coming off as scary rather than cartoony. Favorite screenshot of the batch? The one up top, with the Big G in all his city-wrecking, monster-smashing glory. Makes you feel good that you’re not actually in the game, but the one controlling the big guy, doesn’t it?
