Konami has announced another Revolution game for 7th-generation consoles, this time opting to go for a more party approach with the Blitz Games singing sensation Karaoke Revolution.
This version of Karaoke Revolution will be drastically different from the one that’s already available on PS2. It will have 50 master recordings from artists like Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson, the All American Rejects, Incubus and Lady Gaga, customizable venues, original music videos, and a deeper character creator compared to other Revolution games.
There will also be a drop-in/out duet mode available both offline and online. DLC in the form of songs and customization items is also on the cards.
It would be interesting to see how this game fares on the PlayStation 3, where SingStar already seems to have cornered the karaoke niche, and the Xbox 360 which already has Lips. Might end up as another party hit for the Wii, though.
