New Left 4 Dead 2 update makes Realism Versus permanent

Valve continues to improve and tweak Left 4 Dead 2 with another patch update, adding the encore of Last Gnome On Earth, making Realism Versus a permanent game mode and Lobbies default to “Official Dedicated.” More after the jump!

 

 

Valve continues to improve and tweak Left 4 Dead 2 with another patch update, adding the encore of Last Gnome On Earth, making Realism Versus a permanent game mode and Lobbies default to “Official Dedicated.” According to Valve:

 

“Thanks to voting on a previous poll, Realism Versus has graduated from a Mutation to a permanent Game Mode. On the Xbox 360, owners of “The Passing” just need to connect to the Internet for this update, no Live update is needed.”

 

Patch notes:

• Encore mutation: Last Gnome On Earth
• Realism Versus added as a permanent game mode
• Lobbies now default to “Official Dedicated”
