New Lost Planet PC content coming soon

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Image 1European video game news site Eurogamer reports that a patch for the PC version of Capcom‘s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is coming soon. The patch will reportedly contain new view modes, multiplayer tweaks, and additional characters.

New view modes include a Resident Evil 4-style view mode, a new “Wide mode” and a movie mode for viewing Lost Planet: Extreme Condition‘s cutscenes. The multiplayer update includes a feature that allows players to see connected players in a multiplayer game.

The additional characters are presumably for the game’s multiplayer mode. One of the additional characters making their debut in the upcoming patch is Capcom’s iconic character Mega Man. Dead Rising hero Frank West will also be included in the patch.

According to Eurogamer, a specific release date for the 400MB patch was not announced. It was mentioned, however, that the patch will be released to coincide with the re-launch of Map Packs 1 and 2 as free downloads for the Xbox 360.
