New Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword scans from Famitsu
We clearly can’t get enough of Team Ninja‘s Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for the DS, especially after we saw its epic Tokyo Game Show trailer. While the trailer gave us an idea about the controls, these new scans from Famitsu reveal more details about Dragon Sword‘s stylus movements.
For example, sweeping the stylus over the enemy in a downwards motion makes Ryu Hayabusa jump over the poor enemy; making an upwards motion afterwards will prompt Ryu to throw the opponent into the air and smash him back onto the ground. That’s just a simple down-up sweep of the stylus, yet it packs quite a wallop.
There’s a bunch of other stylus motion techniques detailed in the scans. Even if the scan is in Japanese, the screenshots are pretty much self-explanatory. Do check them out!
