New Oblivion content coming in 2 weeks – Thieves Den

OblivionBethesda has announced the next piece of downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Available in about two weeks, the “Thieves Den” will offer a mysterious cave as the player’s new home. But before they can move in, the cave needs to be cleaned from it’s current inhabitants.
Once players have taken control, not only can they settle in a hive full of villainy apparently inspired by The Goonies, they’ll also be able to form their own band of pirates to embark on plundering journeys. Bethesda has not made any comment regarding the pricing, but expect something similar to the older add-ons.

The Thieves Den will be the fourth content extension to be released by Bethesda. The first one, Horse Armor, was heavily criticized for offering almost none value for money; after that, Bethesda re-evaluated it’s pricing scheme and presented improvements with the Orrery and the Wizard’s Tower. However, no add-on has really stood out yet in terms of quality, and I’d be curious to see if the Thieves Den changes that.
