New Parabellum Screenshots
German-based software production studio ACONY may be relatively new in the gaming scene, but it created quite a buzz when it licensed Epic Game’s Unreal Engine 3 technology back in May, to develop games for the next-gen consoles.
The company is focused on creating high-end graphics and multiplayer compatibility, which we’ll be seeing in Parabellum, a multiplayer first person shooter (FPS) for the Xbox 360 and PC. Nothing much is known about the game except that it revolves around a terrorist threat in New York City.
If we are to trace back the origins of Parabellum, it’s said to be a word coined by German arms maker DWM. The word has been used to describe firearms cartridge or any firearm chambering the 9 x 19 mm round, particulary the Luger pistols. And with that bit of info, we bring you the newest screenshots courtesy of Worthplaying.com. (Hey, we just thought a bit of a historical background can make you appreciate the title even more).
With all these awesome screenshots, we reckon that ACONY is really serious about bringing in high-end graphics to the table. We’re big fans of visual realism in games, and we must say that Parabellum is way up there on our list.
