New PaRappa the Rapper screenshots
Delicious retro-gaming eye-candy with this new batch of SCEA‘s PaRappa the Rapper for the PSP screenshots. As you can see, the graphics are still in its funky pseudo-2D style, one that our Hip-Hop Hero wouldn’t have been the same without.
For those of us curious as to just what the fuss is all about, here’s the skinny on PaRappa the Rapper: it’s a rhythm game where you have to press buttons in time with the music in order for PaRappa, our canine Hip-Hop Hero, to rap to the beat. While there’s no actual rapping per se, it’s a solid title that had fans all a-titter when it was first released way back for the PlayStation One.
Now, this remake for the PlayStation Portable offers that same unique experience – perfect for those of us wanting to get a quality retro fix that isn’t remade to the point where it’s almost unrecognizable.
Punch, kick, it’s all in the mind! Enjoy the screenshots while we all wait for the game’s July release!
