New PlayStation Eye title spotted: Trials of Topoq
Earlier, we reported that Sony has indicated that its PlayStation Eye peripheral has even more potential for innovation and casual gaming than the Wii Remote. Don’t look now, but PS3 Fanboy has posted that they’ve spotted a new game driven by the Eye.
The new game was seen at Sony’s 3Rooms Space in London where Folklore and Eye of Judgment were demoed. The new game is supposedly called Trials of Topoq and it’s about a bad-ass ball.
Players will have to guide the ball through a castle and avoid obstacles while doing so. To control it, you’ll have to manipulate the floors which are represented by what the PlayStation Eye sees. Arms, or other body parts for that matter, can be moved to control the action.
This is certainly an interesting development because Sony seems serious about its claim that it will cater to both casual and hardcore gamers. Check out the images reproduced here and tell us what you think.
