Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner is ready to dive right into another Prince of Persia game again, if a new trademark filing is any indication.
The filing, spotted by superannuation, is for a game called “Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands.” The LinkedIn profile of one Marc-Antoine Senecal, a character modeler at Ubisoft, also suggests that development for the game is already underway.
Senecal’s profile has since been changed from “Working on the new Prince of Persia” to “Working on the best game ever,” however. Of course, that in itself can be seen as an admission that there is indeed a new PoP game in the works. Let’s wait and see what Ubisoft has to say.
