New PSP RPG Coded Soul to connect with PS3’s Folklore
We learned back in August that there are some plans to come up with a PlayStation Portable version of PS3 title Folklore, a game that will be supervised by no other than Shin Megami Tensei creator Kouji Okada.
We believe that the handheld version of the console game is Coded Soul which has just been revealed in the latest issue of magazine Famitsu. Take note, however, that it is not exactly a port of Folklore. More details via the “read more” link below.
According to the publication, the RPG Coded Soul is indeed being created by Okada. Players will be capturing monsters that they can customize and level up. After a while, the players can then form a party and go to battle with these monsters.
Then Famitsu added that Coded Soul will be able to connect with Folklore but failed to provide a detailed explanation. Despite that, it was revealed that the new PSP game will feature two gameplay modes – one for clearing dungeons and the other for monster trading.
It was also mentioned that the ad-hoc capability of the Sony handheld will be used for “communication play”. While waiting for more details, just check out this first magazine scan for Coded Soul.
