New QJ.NET Features: Anonymous Comment Filter, TrackBack and RSS Categories!

QJ LogoSome of our more observant readers may have noticed a few new changes here at QJ.NET today! We’ve heard your suggestions and have implemented a new feature that should make everyone happy – Registered and Unregistered users alike! At the top of each article’s comment list you will find and option to either “Hide” or “Show” comments made by Unregistered users. This will allow everyone to share their opinion and interact with the QJ.NET Community, but also enables the option to not view Anonymous Comments if you personally feel they aren’t worth reading – the choice is up to you!

Speaking of the QJ.NET Community, we are also unveiling a new feature that will help connect QJ.NET and our readers with the rest of the internet, as well as your own personal webpages and blogs! The Trackback feature is your chance to let other users know where to find sites and content that are referencing the news and articles you read here at QJ.NET. You will find these “trackbacks” at the end of the comment list for each article. So how does it work? Simply submit a related URL that contains a link back to QJ.NET, enter your name and a short description and your link will be processed and added to the article! It’s that easy!

But the new stuff doesn’t stop there! As a courtesy to all of you RSS users out there, we’ve added a page that lists all of the different subjects and categories covered here at QJ.NET, so if you’re interested in specific content while you’re on the go, make sure to check out our RSS Feeds by Category section!

As always, we are interested to hear your opinion on these new features, as well as any other changes or additions you’d like to see here at QJ.NET! Be sure to leave us a comment and let us know what you think. Of course, the easiest way to let us know you like these new features is to Jump it Up!

To ensure that the majority of our readers are aware of these new features, this post will remain at the top of the news list for part of the day. Look below for the latest news and updates!
