New Resistance: Fall of Man Screenshots

Recently a lot of bits of info and small batches of screenshots have been released for PlayStation 3 games. This time it’s for the FPS Resistance: Fall of Man. In this game you play a guy who fights aliens around 1950, because instead of WWII happening, aliens invaded Earth. You’ll see a lot of Half-Life 2 kind of gameplay (headcrabs!) but the game definitely has its own unique setting.

The game is still planned as a launch title but the image quality seems to be improving (assuming those are actual screenshots and not pre-rendered a la Killzone 2). It’s not really like “Wow, that’s amazing” when you look at some of the pictures, but hopefully that’ll change as the game and the console come closer to launch. However, will this be the launch title for the PlayStation 3? I doubt it.
