New Revolution supporter and launch title announced

Tecmo has officially announced that it will be supporting the Nintendo Revolution as one of the first Japanese developers to do so. Along with the announcement they also included the name of their first game in development for Nintendos new console, a version of the popular Pangya Golf series which has a working title of Skatto Golf Pangya Revolution.

For those unfamiliar with the Pangya Golf series, it was originally develolped by Ntreev Soft as a Windows based online golf game. Players could play online for free but were required to pay to upgrade their clothing and other items. The game was a huge success in Japan and Korea, and has spread throughout the world from there. While Tecmo did not announce any online functionality in the upcoming Revolution version, it stands to reason that this title will have an online aspect.
