Fire Emblem DS Masamune Shirow - Image 1To some people, the news of a Fire Emblem remake for the DS, Fire Emblem: Shin・Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Ken (literal translation: Fire Emblem: New Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light), is definitely a godsend, especially if you owned a NES console back in it’s heyday.

What’s in store for the gamers this time around? Good old Fire Emblem action, of course, and some new character classes added into the mix. A scan taken from Famitsu has revealed that character artwork is done by famed manga artist Masamune Shirow (artist of Ghost in the Shell manga, Intron Depot), and the scribbles are definitely looking good.
