Running on the Unreal Engine 3, Gears of War throws gamers deep in the middle of humanity’s desperate stand against the Locust Horde, a nightmarish race of creatures that crawled out of the depths of the planet. Armed with amazing weapons that are perfect for making things go “boom,” gamers must rely on themselves and their teammates – be they AI or other human players – as they try to blast their way out of the hell brought about by the Locust Horde.
