New screenshots and artwork from Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
In Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, you’re just an ordinary guy trying to survive. The problem is, surviving has been made so much harder because in this alternate-history title from Codemasters and Spark Unlimited, America — well, the whole world, actually — been taken over by the Nazi Party.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty takes place in an alternate version of the years following a WWII where the Allied forces lost and the Nazis are living large and in charge. It’s a critical time for history, and it’s just about that time when normal, everyday Joe Somebody has to take a stand.
One of the curious things about Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is that it goes against current FPS convention by not giving players other squad members to order around. In this game, you’re not a soldier. You fight alone and die alone. There’s no co-op mode being planned for the game either, which just adds to the whole “personal battle” theme of the game.
Check out the screenshots and art below for a look at the game. Frankly, I don’t take to FPS titles as easily as my fellow blogger Chris does, but this is definitely one title that I’m not going to miss. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is slated for a Q4 release in the U.S. on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
