Cruising and crushing them all
The surprising data reveals that the Wii exclusive did surpass Modern Warfare 2, at least on the PS3. For the month of December, Mario and friends sold some 2.82 million copies, which now brings its sales to 4.21 million. The PS3 version of the world war title currently stands at 2.95 million, while the Xbox 360 version is at 5.83 million.
Nintendo’s big man is keeping the challenge till the end of this January, so let’s see if Mario can surge ahead and catch up with the Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2. Nonetheless, as it stands, that’s still mighty impressive.
