New Tales of Rebirth screenshots
Namco has announced that Tales of Rebirth will be ported to the PSP. The sixth title in the Tales RPG series, it was launched in Japan way back in 2004 for the Sony PlayStation 2. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the word on the street is that North American and European gamers might be seeing this title heading to their shores.
The game takes place in a world where humans and beast people, or Kajuma, live side by side in peace. This bond was formed ages ago when they worked together to find the kingdom of Karegia. The Gajuma king Ladras Lindblum dies a mysterious death and chaos breaks out in the kingdom. His daughter, Princess Agarte Lindblum, the heir to the throne, takes over as queen. Meanwhile, in the northern regions of the village of Sulz, the main hero of the game Veigue Lungberg is considering leaving his village after it is attacked by forces unknown.
So far, there has been no word on when this game will be released. If it’s anything as good as the PlayStation 2 version, then it’ll be quite an experience for those picking up the game for the first time. To get an idea of what the game looks like, be sure to check out the screenshots below.
