FDG Entertainment is hard at work to finish their action RPG Across Age for iPhone and iPod Touch. To drum up more interest, they’ve released a new trailer along with some gameplay details.

Details first. Across Age is being developed in cooperation with Japanese developer EXE-Create. It’ll sport over 15 hours of playtime, iPhone/iPod Touch-optimized HD graphics, cut scenes, and a lot of diversifie locations, monsters and riddles. Early builds of the game have drawn comparisons to the Zelda series.

Players can choose between two switchable characters: a swordsman called Ales and a magician named Ceska. Each have their own special skills needed to solve puzzles and beat monsters. This semi-cooperative element is one of the key features of the game. Another key feature is the possibility to travel through time and revisit places.

Time for the trailer. The video below contains parts of the opening cutscene as well as a few bits of actual gameplay from the Buscavil Mines location.
