We’ve got a new video for you today, and this time, it’s a special clip showcasing the joy that comes from slashing enemies with a Wiimote in a medieval setting. That’s right, it’s the Dragon Quest game with the unbelievably long name, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors.
The video shows two teenagers engaging in Wiimote actions to slice up slimes and block against golems. More importantly, the video shows off the way to perform special moves: by acting them out in the real world.
Whether it’s raising your Wiimote towards the sky to strike down enemies or performing random slashes and thrusts to take down the opposition, there’s one thing we can definitely say about this game: it brings the action straight to you.
The game is slated for a February 26 release in the United States, so Wii fans will definitely want to practice their sword skills in advance. In the meantime, you can check our previous articles for additional coverage of the game, or check out the Square Enix website linked below for some official info on it. Enjoy the video!
