New Xbox 360 model launched in UK, too short a supply for high demand
The Kinect-ready, 250GB new Xbox 360 model just landed on UK shores on July 16th. The build-up for its arrival was apparently very well done by Microsoft, so much so that stores are now facing supply shortage of the said console.

Electronic Theatre went around to check up on the flow of the goods, and what they found was nothing. As in nothing was left of the initial stocks of the redesigned Xbox 360 sent out by Microsoft for the region.
Some stores like Sainsbury’s have reported that they’ve moved all their allocation in mere hours after launch. In fact, they’ve also called in for additional supply, expected to come next week or two, but they reckon it’s not going to “last the whole day”.
The scenario isn’t any different in Tesco, GAME, and others. It’s also been revealed that the next round of shipments won’t be available for pre-orders. So if you’re keen on getting your own unit, you better get ready to line up quick for round 2.
