New Zelda: Twilight Princess Screenshots

Link is probably one of the most recognizable character the gaming world has produced. He is ranked up there along with Mario, Sonic and Donkey Kong. With that in mind, it’s no wonder his latest adventure is being met with high anticipation.

In Twilight Princess, Link is tasked by his town’s mayor to participate in the Hyrule Summit. Unknown to him, the said kingdom was covered by the Twilight Realm. After being covered in darkness in the said realm, he was then mysteriously transformed into a wolf and held captive. Midna, a creature that spells weird, frees him with her magic. This is then the setting the willing player will be immersed.

It is up to the gamer to explore the vast lands of Hyrule to discover the reason behind the darkness that engulfs it. A series of puzzles and battles lay in your path; each you must surpass using Link’s wolf abilities and Midna’s magic. Link’s weapons of choice, his sword, shield, bows and arrows, will still be available provided you’ve gained your human form.

Yep, the premise is promising and the gameplay is billed to be challenging, just what every Zelda fan has been expecting. Let’s just hope this one will surpass our expectations come its release this fall.
