Newly Released Sonic the Hedgehog Packshot

Sometimes all that matter is the look. It’s all in there, or so I am told. The same applies to highly anticipated Sega‘s Sonic the Hedgehog (X360, PS3). This specific rendition of the old-time favorite happens to mark Sonic’s 15th birthday and 1st release in next-gen consoles.

Developer Sega celebrates the occasion not with balloons and cakes, but with the Xbox 360’s packshot of the game…for now. As homage to its origins in Sega Genesis, Sonic seems to have been given a new spirit and spunk but still keeps that familiar blue, fun look only him can dish out and we all love.

The packshot says Sonic the Hedgehog was given an age rating of 12+. The release date is still on November 14. Give this packshot a good look so you are sure not to miss it as it hits the  shelves by then.
