Before you get all dreamy waiting for Sega‘s overdue sequel to the classic platformer, here’s a new trailer for NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. Don’t expect fancy flying through rings though, because this one is all about traditional platforming and orb collection on the Nintendo Wii.

Set for release in the U.S. a few days before Christmas, NiGHTS looks like the perfect partner for winter nights. Playing as a cute acrobat jumping around and collecting glowing objects in colorful backgrounds should prove to be an enjoyable experience no matter how bad the weather is, or at least this video which shows that left us drooling.
