NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams screenshots

Sega has finally released 10 official screenshots for their upcoming Nintendo Wii title, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. The flying aspect’s pretty well-represented in the images, but we’re a bit disappointed on the graphics side of the equation. Still, these are early screenshots, anyway. Check ’em out below for some purple androgyny overload courtesy of French gaming site JeuxFrance.

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is the follow-up to the 1996 Sega Saturn title NiGHTS Into Dreams. It brings players back to the world of Nightopia, which is being threatened by a bunch of nightmare beings called Nightmaren. As the androgynous flying acrobat NiGHTS, players will have to use all of the tricks and powers at their disposal to take care of the Nightmaren threat.

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is slated for a Fall release in the U.S. and a Winter release in Europe.
