At first they were just rumors, all of us hoping for it not to be true, but the truth must be told. The estimated cash value (GBP) of the shipment has been rumored to be 1.26 million, and no official figure has been released to confirm this. Nintendo did confirm the stolen shipment by stating “A number of White DS Lite made for the UK market were stolen in Hong Kong.” Nintendo continued to comment, and reassure the UK market by stating – “Nintendo is making every effort to ensure that there is enough prodcut available in the UK to meet market demand at launch.” Now, this may be a huge loss to Nintendo, but they are still fighting hard to supply their loyal customers! The worst part about this theft is the fact that it happened in one of the most populated cities in the world! Our wishes go out to Nintendo in hopes that they find the lost shipment!
