Nintendo confirms Super Smash Bros. Brawl bug

Nintendo has confirmed that there is indeed a minor bug which can cause Nintendo Wii owners a bit of annoyance upon booting Super Smash Bros. Brawl. However, it doesn’t seem to be something that should stop anyone from grabbing a copy of the game.
According to Japanese gaming website Mantan Web who received word from Nintendo, the problem is that Wii units freeze when Super Smash Bros. Brawl updates its firmware automatically after the player clicks on the disc channel to run the game.
It is said to be a bug that only affects a small number, and all you have to do to put your Wii back to its feet is turn the power off and reinsert the SSBB disc.
