Nintendo donates to Child’s Play
Nintendo’s never been shy when it comes to contributing to charity. Before, they were known for their support of the Press Start Children’s Foundation. The Press Start began in 2004, when the organization run by Drew Matthews, Derek McCrone, and Daniel Ryan made a single Nintendo GameCube donation to the McMaster Children’s Hospital for the holiday season.
Taking a cue from the non-profit organization that good will is always good, Nintendo’s made a huge delivery to Penny Arcade‘s Child’s Play. Take a gander at those extra Nintendo DS Lites they’ve got:
The folks at Penny Arcade note that they’ll be sending the stuff to hospitals as soon as they can.
Despite some folks thinking that this is basically a PR move from Nintendo, you can’t argue with the fact that a lot of kids will be happy with this. Good will is always good PR.
