Nintendo geekiness! Spot-the-cameos in WarioWare: Smooth Moves

If you’re hesitant about adding yet another party game to your expanding library (dude, what do you have? Rabbids, Bananas, and Sports?), we’ve got vids from kyono007 that could possibly convince you to add one more to your collection. Despite party games crashing into the Wii from left, right, and center, WarioWare: Smooth Moves seems like a golden ticket to group entertainment.

With this video alone, we’ve got a couple of reasons why we think that this game is poking at that special part in our brains that’s labelled “I’m a Nintendo geek.” Here’s just some reasons we’ve listed:

  • a retro version of the upcoming Wii Music Orchestra
  • Link pulling out his Master Sword
  • a 3D version of Balloon Fight
  • Samus in her ball form
  • the classic (SNES) Starfox as the boss stage
  • Mario Sunshine, WindWaker, and Punch-Out
