Recently, gamers have reported bugs with Mario Kart Wii‘s Time Trial mode. It seems that a few of those players have managed to take advantage of the situation and were able to cheat in the game, setting records that even Sonic would have a hard time beating.

According to reports from the online community, it didn’t take long before Nintendo took action to fix this. Not only have they blocked methods for exploiting the bug to cheat, but they also deleted the records of cheaters. We’ve yet to see if any persistent gamers would manage to find other bugs to exploit though.

Moral lesson: don’t get caught cheat. Cheating is bad, mmkay?
