Nintendo looking into Europe Super Smash Bros. Brawl contests
If they can do it, why not us? That appears to be the possibility running through the mind of Nintendo Europe with regards to regional tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Apparently, all it took was a little inspiration from the US arm of the company. More about that after the jump.
Since Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl (SSBB) is all about competitive play, what better context for competitive play to thrive in than a regional tournament? Fortunately, Nintendo of Europe seems to be considering that possibility for European fans of the game.
Apparently, the inspiration came from Nintendo’s US arm and Best Buy – after all, the two have planned to host Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournaments for American players in lieu of the game’s launch.
While Nintendo Europe has yet to announce the release date of SSBB for the region, it wouldn’t hurt at all for the company to follow the example set by its US counterpart, as European players are also looking forward to enjoying this best-selling game.
