Nintendo Makes Final Fantasy III Statement
Looks like the sales of Final Fantasy III were as huge as the headlines made them out to be. Nintendo has revealed, through Media-Create numbers, that Final Fantasy III sold 309,000 copies on its very first day. That’s 68% of its shipment. The Final Fantasy III Crystal Edition bundle, which was a special edition DS Lite alongside the game, was also snatched up with 21,000 units sold on Day 1. The regular DS Lite’s sales probably weren’t too shabby either!
