Nintendo rolls out Wii console system update yet again

It seems like yesterday’s system update for the Wii console isn’t enough as Nintendo rolls out a new one today. The first update was to make sure that the WiiWare service launch in May is smooth and without a glitch. There’s still no available information, however, regarding the new one. It was only yesterday when Nintendo rolled out a system update for the Wii console to accommodate changes that will come with the WiiWare download service in May.

However, we just got word that there’s another one today that just went live. There’s still no available information as of now but according to one of our sources, it looks like the system update is for a number of things.

Those would include update to the shop channel, update to Internet play, and for fixing some games.
