Nintendo sends condolences to O’Keefe

O'KeefeWe hope this next tidbit will put everything to rest. Not that we’re trying to suppress the word or something, but for the sake of Connor O’Keefe‘s soul, we hope to end this right here. Because you see, the kid isn’t a victim of Nintendo. He was accidentally electrocuted while trying to unplug his GameBoy.

With that said, Nintendo of Europe recently released a press statement regarding the matter. It reads: “Nintendo wishes to offer its sincere condolences to the family of Connor O’Keefe. Details of the accident are currently unclear so we are unable to make any further comment at this stage.”

It should be remembered that this thing somewhat blew out of proportion when local tabloids gave the story a sensational twist such as headlines like “Killed by GameBoy.” Furthermore, the local police officials have always maintained that no blame whatsoever has been attached to the company. We also send our most sincere condolences to the family of the kid.
