Already, the official Wii and Nintendo sites are sporting an image of the Wii with the jacket on. The Kyoto-based firm will spend US$ 18 million to bring the product to fans worldwide and great results are expected to follow.

It has also been rumored that the Wiimote jacket will be frequently displayed in games as developers have begun creating safety message screens that will show the benefits of having a Wiimote jacket.
